About Rob
Rob is a photographer and artist based in Naarm/Melbourne. His work investigates ideas of identity and representation within contemporary queer fetish culture. Using screen and print based methods he develops images that authentically reflect the expressions of fetish identity, sexuality and community.
My personal art practice is deeply rooted in queer fetish culture — exploring power, identity, play, and visibility through a lens of intimacy and subversion. These explorations shape my commissioned work by grounding it in lived experience and creative curiosity. Whether I’m collaborating with a client on a portrait session or shooting for a brand, I bring the same values: trust, consent, and the desire to create images that honour the complexity and beauty of kink.
My background as an artist helps me move beyond surface aesthetics — I’m not just capturing a look, I’m telling a story. Working on long-term personal projects has taught me how to hold space, navigate vulnerability, and translate niche subcultural nuance into powerful, affirming visuals. That crossover is where my best work happens.
