Booking a photoshoot that celebrates your kink, gear or identity can be a big step. It can be exciting, powerful… and nerve-wracking getting in front of the camera – especially if it’s your first time!

You might be wondering:

What will the vibe be like? Am I expected to pose a certain way? Do I have to take my clothes off?

The short answer is – You don’t have to do anything you’re not 100% comfortable with

My shoots are grounded in consent, creativity, and community care. Whether you’re stepping in front of the camera solo, with a partner, or exploring a new version of yourself, this space is built for you — no performance needed.

Setting the Scene: What Happens Before the Shoot

Once you reach out (whether through my site, Instagram, or Bluesky), we’ll start with a casual conversation. I’ll ask a few key questions to get a sense of:

  • What kind of images you want to create

  • What gear, outfits, or aesthetics you’re drawn to

  • Your comfort levels, boundaries, and anything you definitely don’t want

Sound familiar? Kinda like negotiating a kink scene isn’t it?

In many ways it is, especially with this type of photography – We set expectations, we talk consent, we set boundaries.

We’ll also talk through practical stuff like studio/location, timing, and whether you want your shoot to feel more sensual, empowering, playful, sexy, or artful.

Some clients come in with detailed references and moodboards. Others just say, “I want to feel hot in my leather.” Either way is totally valid — we build it together.

On the Day – Consent First, No Pressure

When you arrive, we’ll take some time to settle in. No cameras immediately in your face — just a check-in, gear unpacking, music, maybe a coffee or a chat. If we’ve planned a specific concept, we’ll walk through it. If we’re keeping it loose and responsive, we’ll feel it out together.

During the shoot, I’ll guide you when needed, but there’s no pressure to perform. The best photos happen when you’re relaxed and having fun. You can move, rest, breathe, or stop at any point.

You’re always welcome to say:

  • “Let’s pause for a second”

  • “Can we try this instead?”

  • “That pose doesn’t feel right for me”

Every body, every expression, every boundary is valid. And hey, if you have an idea for somthing you want to try while we’re shooting, let me know and we’ll try it!

On tht note, sometimes you might change your mind about things we talk about prior to the shoot. In the moment you might actually feel comfortable about trying somthing that was initially off the table or similiarly, you may have said something was fine beforehand and then just doesn’t feel right. Either way is totally fine and I encourage you to let me know how things are feeling during your shoot.

Consent is ongoing, not a one-time checkbox.

After the Shoot: Delivery, Privacy, and Ownership

Once we’ve wrapped, I’ll send you a timeline for delivery — typically you’ll get a preview gallery within 7–10 days. From there, you can select the images you love most (or I can help you choose if that’s easier).

Any image use (like portfolio, zines, exhibitions, or social media) is only done with your clear, written consent. You can stay anonymous or opt out of public use entirely. Your shoot, your say.

Got Questions?

You Might Be Wondering…

“Do I need to be naked or in gear?”
Nope. Some folks shoot in full rubber, others in jeans and a harness, others in nothing at all. We build the shoot around what you have in mind and what you’re comfortable with.

“What if I’ve never done anything like this before?”
That’s totally okay. Most of my clients haven’t. You don’t need to know how to pose — I’ll guide you through it.

“Will my face be shown?”
Only if you want it to be. We can shoot anonymous portraits, focus on detail, or use creative lighting to obscure identity. Or if you want to incorporate gear like masks or pup hoods, etc, that also work great for privacy.

It’s About Celebrating YOU!

This kind of work isn’t about capturing a kink stereotype — it’s about capturing you: your body, your identity, your expression, and the ways you find power, play, and express your authentic self.

Whether you’re curious, nervous, excited (or all three), you’re welcome here.
